Here is a healthy alternatives for a snack. My freeze dried bananas are just ripe bananas that have been cut up and freeze dried. These are great for hiking or to throw in your bag for when you or your kids get hungry. No worrying about bananas getting smushed in your bag or the banana being forgotten about only to find a mess at the bottom of your bag. I place the freeze dried bananas in a mylar bag with an oxygen absorber.
